GGL Security enjoyed a hugely successful day hosting a exhibition of cutting edge Security Products presented by market leaders at the Clayton Hotel, Galway on Thursday 11th November 2010.
GGL Security, leaders in the monitoring of Alarms, CCTV and GPS tracking, brought some of the industries leading suppliers to Galway, to exhibit the latest offerings of Alarm, Camera, Digital Video Recorders and GPS tracking equipment. All the products shown are monitored or can be monitored at GGL’s International Alarm Receiving Centre. GGL are fully licensed by the Private Security Authority and are certified to NSAI IS:228 SR25 and SR41 standard.
Peter Ball, General manager of Norbain Ireland demonstrated a range of competitively priced Vista & Xeno equipment including the new Xeno H 264 digital recorder. They also showed their Rapid Deployment Dome, which is designed for monitoring remote locations such as waste disposal sites and also ideal for rental for special events and festivals. The Dome is Wi-fi enabled, with a SIM card slot to facilitate monitoring and remote control via mobile broadband. It can be remotely monitored with ease from a central station such as GGL’s International Monitoring Centre.
Tony Burns of Pelco, one of the world’s leading suppliers of CCTV camera and Digital Video recording equipment showed some high specification products including their new Sarix megapixel IP camera range and a thermal imaging camera.
Paul Hannah from international electronics giant Siemens was also in attendance showing the SiPass Acces Control product range, which allows users to upgrade from stand alone to LAN without having to purchase a whole new system.
Troy Sullivan of Europlex Technologies demonstrated the capabilities of the Signet Intruder Alarm Range including monitoring over IP; a service which will shortly be available to GGL customers. The benefits of IP Monitoring is that the alarm is in constant communication with the Alarm Receiving Centre. Any failure to communicate generates an alert within the ARC, allowing staff to intensify the situation thus defeating the would be raider from silencing any signal from the intruder alarm by cutting the telephone line.
Noel O’Connell, Managing Director of Satcom Technology, showed various GPS tracking devices from Personnel tracking to high end tracking systems with anti hijack facilities. Monitoring is available worldwide via the GGL International Monitoring Centre.
The exhibition was well attended by some of the West’s leading security installers who are constantly looking for the latest solutions to assist their customers in obtaining modern security and access control equipment to minimize any threat to their staff, stock and property.
