GGL Security’s Director of Technology, John Delaney, was a guest on Limerick’s Live 95FM recently discussing CCTV in our modern technological culture.
“The whole CCTV industry has exploded in the last few years, everybody is using CCTV and our core business is monitoring CCTV. People are now using CCTV to protect their premises or their residence when they’re away on holiday, or if a school is closed, if intruders enter the car park it sends a signal to a monitoring centre like ours here in Limerick and we respond. CCTV has exploded, for example while I was walking here this morning from our offices I was probably captured on CCTV a minimum of 50 to 100 times.”
